Fan of NF products, but this store has abysmal customer service. Stopped in Sunday afternoon around 2:30. The store was busy…which is good since there are many empty spaces recently in this outlet center. We asked if they had 2 men’s coats and a pair or boots in a different size. We were told they indeed had those sizes in back, but they were doing inventory. I was advised to come back “tomorrow “. I asked if they could just order me those online. I was told they could, but they would not honor the store prices and I would have to pay for shipping. I’m not sure if doing inventory on the weekend, during business hours, was a store level decision or a corporate decision…I can’t imagine this being a good decision…turning away customers. Surely we weren’t the only ones with this experience. The lady we spoke to us was so rude that my husband said to make sure I get customer service’s phone number. The girl that rang us up didn’t have the number and didn’t know where to find it. She called Wes, the manager…what a gem! He went in back to get me the number and asked why I wanted it. I started to tell him about our disappointment with the inventory situation and there being no alternative such as ordering. He cut me off mid sentence and began to literally laugh in my face. He then said “lady you’re ridiculous “. I asked him if he thought laughing in a customer’s face was appropriate behavior. He told me “in your’s, yes”. He then asked me if I “have something else going on” in my life. What?!?!? I have never had such an experience. Ever. I guess I wasn’t raised with such disrespect and rudeness. With Wes and his lack of professionalism, down right rudeness, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the next space empty at the outlet center. You just don’t treat people like that. I sincerely hope this is not how North Face wants to be represented. My husband owns a business and I can assure you, Wes would have been fired on the spot if he were one of his employees.
